|My Reward Dress (Me NOT Pictured)|
I did it! I finally completed my 30-Day Bikram Yoga Challenge. This second time around was way easier than the first. Had I not missed that week while I was in Seattle during the first week of December, I could have easily knocked out the 60 day challenge.
Challenge or no challenge, my mind and body feel amazing. The best part about this whole experience is that I've managed to turn Bikram into a habit in my lifestyle. No longer do I have to work hard to fit it into my day. My body craves the practice so much that I look forward to each and every class. The early morning classes are the best. I can't think of a better way to start the day than with ninety minutes of Bikram.
As a final reward for this challenge, I finally got to open my box from Hawthorn which contained the beautiful, black, hand-woven, floor-length lace dress that I bought back in November. Geez, it feels like ages ago since I first bought that dress. I tried it on last night and it fit like a glove. Worth every penny and every drop of sweat.
Even though my challenge is officially over, I plan on continuing to practice Bikram every day. I decided to take today off, Day #32 due to work projects and preparations for a major transition in my life. I'll be back in class bright and early tomorrow morning at 5:30.
