A Primer That Brightens Skin Instantly

Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer
The major bummer about suffering from hyperpigmentation on your face is uneven skin tone. By receiving routine facials targeting skin discoloration from a licensed esthetician and consistently using the right products, you can reduce the effects of hyperpigmentation. It just takes a lot of discipline in your own home skin care routine and it takes forever to get rid of. Luckily there are makeup products that will instantly brighten up the skin and help even out skin tone in the meantime.

My number one recommendation is to use a luminizing foundation primer underneath your foundation. Right now, my favorite foundation primer is the Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer. Don't let the tinted gold color of the product scare you off. Even though it looks dark in the tube, it actually comes out sheer on the skin with a pretty luminous gold hue.

Apply the primer right after your finishing products like a toner, serum, moisturizer and sun protection. I like to use the back of my hand as my product palette. Apply a pea-sized amount of the primer onto the back of your hand. Dip your finger into the primer and dot it in key areas of the face such as the forehead, nose, top of each cheek and chin. You can use a foundation brush, the Beautyblender or even your fingers to blend the primer evenly onto your skin. You will see an instant glow all over your face. The Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Foundation Primer is lightweight and fast absorbing so you can immediately apply your foundation after you've blended the primer all over your face.

Loving this combination right now!
What I love about this particular primer is that before I even apply my foundation, I can already see my skin tone evening out. By the time I apply a foundation on top, I have perfectly even skin. I also love the instant brightening effects this primer has, especially on days when I didn't get all of my beauty sleep the night before. The luminous gold hue does a great job of making my skin look wide awake. Since the primer is oil-free, it doesn't make my already combination skin any more oily or shinier throughout the day.

Right now, I am loving this primer together with the Perfekt Skin Perfection Gel in Radiant. Both are super lightweight, packed with tons of vitamins and antioxidants, do a great job of filling in wrinkles and pores, even out skin tone, are oil-free and give the skin an all over, naturally brightening effect. It almost feels like you're not even wearing makeup. And the best part? No one can tell that you're suffering from hyperpigmentation all over your face.
