Laline: When Body Meets Soul

Laline held a special event that had two events packed into one on Friday, March 25th. The event included Laline's Spring Preview at it's second San Francisco location, located at 2106 Chestnut Street. The event not only introduced the luxury bath and body care boutique to its San Francisco neighbors, but was also a fundraiser for the Bay Area Girls Rock Camp. There was a live in-store performance by The Bayonettes (a Bay Area Girls Rock Camp alumni band), Laline skin care and bath product demonstrations, champagne, snacks and plenty of mingling.

The Israel-born chain was founded in 1999 and now has 60 locations worldwide. Laline opened its first two locations in the United States last year, both of which are located here in San Francisco. The first Laline location opened at Pier 39 and the second location on Chestnut Street. A third U.S. Laline location is set to open later this year in San Jose.

"When body meets soul" is the boutique's philosophy. Laline features hand-made products such soaps, scrubs and lotions that will help turn anyone's bathroom experience into a holistic experience. These luxurious bath and body care products are scented using essential oils and with fragrances that come directly from the Provence region of France. Laline products use mineral salts that come directly from the Dead Sea. All of Laline's products are considered cruelty-free and do not use any animal-derived ingredients. There's a Laline product collection for everyone, of all ages. Women, men, teenagers, kids and babies-Laline has everyone's skin care and bath experience needs covered.

Laline's product demonstration stations are two adorable working sinks that are set up right in the middle of the boutique. They are designed to show shoppers just how wonderful the Laline products are. The company strongly believes in the "try before you buy" philosophy. Once you actually experience the Laline products, its impossible to not fall in love with them. Employees are on-hand to offer shoppers a full demonstration that includes a hand cleansing, scrub and a moisturizer. I fell in love instantly with Laline after the product demonstration. I couldn't stop rubbing my hands and commenting on how incredibly soft they were.

Looking to fall in love with Laline products like I did? Get the luxurious Laline experience at home using the following regimen one to two times a week:

1. Cleanse your hands using one of Laline's scented Foam Fatal Whipped Body Soap and rinse with warm water.

2. Apply a small scoop of Laline's Body Scrub to the hands. Work in the scrubs all over the hands and in-between the fingers. Rinse with warm water.

3. Apply a small amount of the ultra moisturizing Body Souffle to the hands and work into the skin. For those dry, winter months, give your hands an extra moisturizing treatment. Perform this whole process right before bed. After applying the Body Souffle, seal in the moisturizer with a pair of cotton gloves and wear them overnight. Your hands will not only smell amazing in the morning, but they will feel noticeably softer all day long.

All of Laline's products are available for purchase at both of the San Francisco locations and on the Laline website. Laline provides free shipping for all online orders over $60.
